This year marks the 14th anniversary of the Whisky Live Festival. Just like the classic drink, age can only make the festival an even better experience.
The Sandton Convention Centre will host 10 000 Whisky lovers from 9-11 November 2016, where over 200 whiskies will be on offer, making the Whisky Live Festival in Joburg the world’s largest!
Organisers have put together a special programme for you to help honour the age-old drink. You’ll be able to: Meet Malt Masters such as Brian Nation, Jameson’s Head Distiller and the man responsible for maintaining the quality and authenticity of Jameson whiskey from grain to glass; and be among the first in South Africa to taste a new exclusive, limited-release addition to the Scottish Leader collection.
There’ll even be an opportunity for you to invest in a well curated cabinet of fine whisky. On sale will be items including The Macallan Decanter Series, with the Rare Cask, Reflexion No. 6 and M Decanter. The Brora limited edition release and the Port Ellen 37 Year Old, both being the oldest Whiskies ever released by either of these distilleries, will be available for you to purchase.
