Run for a positive social change at the 2017 J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge

The J.P Morgan Corporate Challenge returns to Johannesburg on Thursday, March 30 for another dose of benevolence and you are invited to run for the cause.

Every year J.P. Morgan, in celebration of the Corporate Challenge, makes a donation to a non-profit organisation as part of its corporate responsibility. For the fourth consecutive year, the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation will be the event beneficiary in Johannesburg.

Previous J.P. Morgan donations have aided the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation with the various sports-based community initiatives it supports around the country. Supporting 22 projects in over 80 communities nationwide, the Foundation uses the power of sport to address social challenges and effect positive social change. Since its inception, the Foundation has raised over R80 million for projects and programmes which have improved the lives of more than 100,000 young people.

At the recent Laureus World Sports Awards in Monaco, the locally based programme Waves for Change – supported by the Laureus Foundation — received the prestigious Sport for Good Award. The Waves for Change programme uses the sport of surfing to change the lives of vulnerable and at-risk South African youth.

Be part of more than 13,000 participants from 227 companies and run the 5.6 kilometre race at Wanderers. HOT 91.9fm will also be there! Join The Big Joburg Drive with Simon Parkinson, Dylan Rogers and Gladys Sithole as they broadcast live from Wanderers from 4-6:30pm. Revel in post-race entertainment with the Corprate Challenge’s headline act GoodLuck and be taken further into the festivities by DJ Luis Almeida.
