As part of the massive R840 000 “Back To School Supply Run” on Hot91.9FM, Hot Cares together with the Guvon Group’s Guvon Academy launched the Hospitality Bursary.
The bursary for training in Hospitality and Catering, valued at R150 000, is a 3-year programme that will include workplace experience within the Guvon Hotels & Spas group as well as professional mentoring and development beyond the qualification.
This morning on Joburgs Hottest Breakfast Show, Joshua Niland got some truly wonderful news.
Having always wanted to work in Hospitality since he was a child, Joshua – who has just completed his Matric with university entrance – was unable to further his studies due to financial constraints at home.
Nadia Barnard of the Guvon Group, was in studio to handover this amazing opportunity to young Joshua and believe that he is the right candidate because of his commitment and determination to succeed.
We know that this first stepping stone in his tertiary education and the beginning of a long and successful career.
Well done, Josh and good luck!
